Bookings

A booking is confirmed, and a contract between you and us comes into effect, when:

• You have made a Booking and provided all necessary information to process your request;
• You have paid the Deposit and any other amounts payable at the time of booking; and
• We have sent you a Booking Confirmation.

We reserve the right to decline a Booking at our discretion. If we decline your Booking and you have made any payments to us, we will promptly refund the amounts received.

Names must be provided exactly as stated in your passport. If incorrect information is provided and airline tickets or other documents need to be re-issued, you will be responsible for any supplier fees, including airline cancellation or re-issue fees, as well as our reasonable administration fees.

Our Services

Sokshing Travel begins providing services as soon as we receive your first enquiry. This includes planning, coordinating, and arranging tour services prior to travel, as well as other travel arrangements related to your Bhutan journey.

Tour Services

For tours operated by Sokshing Travel, our services include arranging and coordinating land services in Bhutan, which may include accommodation, transportation, local guides, activities, permits, government fees, and other services included in your itinerary.

Third-Party Services

Certain services may be provided by third-party suppliers such as airlines, hotels, activity providers, or other service providers. These services are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective supplier.

Prices

Our Tour Prices are stated in US Dollars (USD), inclusive of GST, and are subject to change prior to you making a Booking. Your Booking Confirmation will confirm your final Tour Price. The price for any Additional Services will be itemised separately.

Payment, Amendments & Cancellations by You

Deposit

• A deposit of 50% of the total tour price is required within 7 days of confirming the Booking.
• For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required upfront. Once we receive confirmation from the bank that your payment has arrived, we will send you a formal trip confirmation and receipt.

Final Payment

• The final payment is due 60 days prior to commencement of the tour. If final payment is not received by the due date, you will be deemed to have cancelled your booking.

Amendments

• Amendment requests will be processed without amendment fees where possible. However, some changes may incur additional costs, subject to supplier policies and availability.

Cancellations by You

• Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to commencement of the tour: cancellation fee is 100% of the Tour Price.
• Cancellations received between 31–60 days prior to commencement of the tour: cancellation fee is 50% of the Tour Price.
• Cancellations received 61 days or more prior to commencement of the tour: cancellation fee is US$150 per person.
